I have a few pairs of boots laying about my closet and have been trying to find a way to keep them from getting ruined. Some of my boots are made out of softer leather and so they flop over sideways which can start to cause creasing. During a trip to Daiso I came across a solution, ブーツクリップ (Boots Clip)!
These work very well for being a simple plastic tool. They also had inflatable fittings that can be put into the boot instead, but I thought this was a better choice. There are many different boot clip options out there, some have handles that form into different shapes such as hearts and some are in different colors. This shape was the only option I saw, but they had pink and brown handle choices. I went with brown to keep things more natural looking.
