Yesterday we decided to go out and do a bit of shopping. It was fun getting out and driving out of the city to visit the Vacaville Outlets and Corte Madera’s Town Center.

I bought this scarf from Urban Outfitters. It was actually on clearance. I was attracted to the pastel pink and the shimmer it has.

I found this scarf and open cardigan at Banana Republic. The scarf was on clearance and the cardigan was on sale. I also had a $10 gift certificate and a 30% off coupon!

This zip up is from Eddie Bauer. It was my only purchase of the day that was NOT on sale. I was not going to buy it, but I really liked it and decided to go with it. Something easy and cute to wear on casual days. I also bought a light weight cotton hooded shirt that was on sale and a small boiling pot for camping that was on clearance.

I really tried to keep myself from buying too many things because I am focusing on saving up money. Sometimes it is tempting to buy though when you are around so many wonderful things! The only other thing I bought was a salad spinner from Sur La Table. I eat salads everyday and wanted a spinner to easily be able to dry lettuce after washing to avoid soggy salads. At least most of what I bought was for a great deal.
