If I can avoid paying full price for something, I will. Who wouldn’t? Not to say I NEVER pay full-price for things (sometimes if you wait you might miss out), but it is a special moment when you buy something way below the original price.

During a visit to Macys last weekend (they were having a big sale), after really not finding anything, I decided to browse their accessories. I spotted a 65% off bin. Usually I do not find things in sale bins (stuff in sale bins are usually ugly or destroyed due to being tossed around), but I took a chance.

After going through two bins filled with purses, I came across this cute clutch by Rachel Rachel Roy. I really like the green color and the stitching.

The clutch was originally priced $60USD and I paid only $11USD! I had a coupon to use so it helped take off a bit extra. The sales woman told me the designer clutch is a piece of an older season’s collection (surprised no one snatched it up — maybe they did not find it in the bin piled with purses). Old or not, I am happy with it!

I have been looking for a new wallet to eventually replace my current Lucky Brand leather wallet, but I have not really been that proactive about the search. *SWEAT* The wallet I have now is starting to wear down a bit, but it is NOT in that bad of shape where it needs to be replaced right away. Last weekend we ended up stopping by Macy’s and as we browsed about the store, I ended up coming across a wallet by Coach.

I really like the size of this wallet and thought the pattern was a great colorful pick. In the past I have not been that much of a stripe fan, but recently stripes have grown on me. :] The strap is also a nice so that I can carry this as a clutch if I do not want to have a purse on me (my iPhone fits perfectly). The only one thing I was not too sure about is that this is a fabric wallet. A card insert that I found inside the box notes that it has been specially treated to be stain resistant — I hope it does stay clean! The BEST part of this wallet was the price. Originally the wallet was $98USD and I got it on sale with a special promotional coupon for $29USD!
